Cuteness update

Little miss is graduating from Kindergarten this year! WOW! This year has gone fast. I have loved watching all that she has learned this year. She is so creative, and loves giving gifts to others. I am constantly getting gifts from this kid. Homemade drums, pictures, money, etc. This girl has a heart of gold!
Sometimes they love each other! Actually Kre LOVES Korra. We constantly hear the name "Korra". If I tell Kre that it isn't her's, she asks if it is Korra's. Everything is about Korra for this girl. While she will still sometimes scream when Korra tries to squeeze or hug her, the reality is she loves her in only the way a sister can. These girls have a special bond already and I love watching it grow.

Chi has been busy getting ready to be a third grader...ahhhh how does this happen! Seriously this kid amazes me in so many ways. He has such a love for sports. Continually throwing a football or trying to wrestle his sisters.

For tiny miss ...oh boy! We have trouble on our hands! This little lady is so funny..or so she thinks! She is also a lover and a fighter. Fighter for naps, a fighter over food, a fighter over what she wants. She is also a lover of food (I know a love-hate relationship with food), a lover of cuddles, a lover of sister, and a lover of babies.
Getting excited for a summer full of  fun, we just have to make it through one more half day!

The Smokey Mountains Part 2

I think I was trying to jam too much into the original post so here are a few more pictures from Cades Cove.

On Thursday, we headed out early to go to the aquarium. We were a little hesitant to go, since we have been to the one in Chicago, but it was super kid friendly and the shark tank was amazing! After the aquarium we headed back to relax for the night!
Friday we cleaned up and headed into town for one last event, the Dixie Stampede. We debated on this, because it was pricey, but it was super fun! Even Kre enjoyed it!

For your viewing entertainment:

Kre had been asking to ride things all week, but she was too small. So we stopped at the outlet mall for her own ride...it was worth it!

The Smokey Mountains part 1

We headed to the smokey Mountains (Pigeon Forge, TN) Friday (the 3rd) with my sister and her family. We drove about 7 hours and stayed at a hotel for the night. The next day we arrived at our cabin at 12:30! Just in time for naps for the littles and groceries for the ladies.
Sunday was Easter so we celebrated by making resurrection rolls and reading the Easter story. Then we headed out for some exploring! It took us a while to find a place we could actually hike with lots of little feet.
Our final destination was this beautiful waterfall. That is the kids and I climbing up to the top...oh my heart skipped a few beats during this hike!
Monday was spent shopping, go-carting (the boys hit the 40mph track), and a few tourist shops!

Tuesday we spent the morning relaxing, and headed out in the evening for some "Island" fun. This little town tucked away! The kids played in the arcade and we danced to the fountain music!

Wednesday was a busy day! We headed out early for breakfast downtown Gatlinburg at the Pancake Pantry! Yum! Then we spent sometime touring around downtown. Dan and chi played a shooting game (they rode fake horses and shot at the movie screen). Chi loved it!
Then we headed out to Cades Cove. Cades Cove is basically an old town. We saw several old churches and houses, as well as bears and deer! This was the highlight of the trip for most of us!

2014-15 wrestling season

Wrestling
Malachi has found his passion, and he is pretty good at it too!  He started off a little hesitant, but has worked his way through his insecurities. Rising above and taking 3rd at Regionals, which brought him to the State tournament this past weekend!
Warming up with the coach and dad! Malachi thought this was pretty special, considering only people with badges could be in the lower level!
Malachi went 1-2 at state and was done, but he wrestled hard and had a great attitude! He finished the year 27-5 (4 of his losses were from regionals and state), not bad for our little guy!

18 months

Kreana is 18 months old today! She is such a fun little lady! She makes me smile is so many ways!
She loves her t.t (Ellie), and we often find her pulling it out of her crib for some cuddles! We are working on keeping the paci in her bed, but she still sneaks it once in a while!
She has several teeth...new ones coming in all the time! Poor lady!
She says several words, and repeats things often! She also has used the potty on several occasions (we are waiting to potty train her till after our spring break trip ...which could be too late, but we will take our chances).
She lives in her own little word, but loves anything littler than her! Her dolls, small dogs, cats, etc.
She may be small, but this girl can eat! At least 2 bowls of cereal every morning...and we often find her sneaking snacks all day long!!!
Kreana Faith ~18 months old!
17lbs 12oz
30 inches long

A Little Girl's (and big girl's) Dream

Though we wondered the aisles in awe, her decision was made long before the trip (and her 6th birthday).

She could hardly wait to take Kit out of the box. A big thank-you to Grandma for such a special gift!

Sweet Dreams!
We had such a fun weekend taking the train into Chicago and celebrating out sweet girl. She was such a trooper as it was pretty cold and we did lots of shopping (and not all for Kit accessories)!  Although we did make one more stop for Kit to get her ears pierced!

winterfest

Saturday we headed out for some winter fun at Sandy Pines' Winter fest.
We had so much fun....
Snowman building.....

                                                        Hayride riding...

Sledding....

It was a perfect day. The weather was in the 30's, but we were still able to walk to the island!
This picture cracks me up, believe it or not Kre is in the middle of all that!
Can you see her now?
