This past weekend we took the kids overnight to Chicago for a fun getaway. Well to be honest we took the kids because Malachi is completely obsessed with the newest American doll, Sage! He just loves her, at least he has good taste in girls she is a beauty! Anyway he was able to get an up close look at her. We took the train from Michigan city Friday afternoon and came back Saturday evening.
While we were there we went to the shed's aquarium. What a treat that was. Fyi we weren't sure if we would go or not, but I asked the front desk at our hotel if they had any coupons and the receptionist gave us two free tickets! SCORE! We may or may not have gotten them because Korra was working her magic and I am quite sure that the lady will name her next child Korrayah.
There was so much to see the kids loved it all including the aquatic show, jelly fish, and especially the sharks!!!
A big thanks to Grandpa and Grandma Kapenga who helped make the trip more memorable!!
